Christopher M. Reed is a U.S. Navy veteran and seasoned business leader with a career spanning both federal and private-sector success. After retiring from the Navy in 2010 with 20 years of service, he transitioned into government contracting—supporting a wide range of Department of Defense agencies and founding multiple high-performing companies along the way. As CEO of TriBuilt Technology Corp, Chris is known for building teams and solutions from the ground up, driving strong delivery, and solving mission-critical challenges. In addition to his federal track record, Chris has led ventures serving city and state agencies, blending operational agility with deep government insight. He has pursued studies in technology, cybersecurity, and business strategy at Saint Leo University, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Texas A&M University–San Antonio. Under his leadership, TriBuilt continues to deliver measurable impact across sectors—grounded in integrity, innovation, and a passion for service.
Senior Manager
James Clerkley is a highly accomplished cybersecurity leader and retired U.S. Air Force professional with more than 35 years of combined experience in cyber operations, information assurance, and IT program management. Over his 20-year military career and subsequent work supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense, James has overseen the security of medical, telehealth, and enterprise IT systems across complex, high-impact environments. He brings deep expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Section 508 compliance, system authorizations, and vulnerability mitigation—translating technical security requirements into actionable, mission-aligned outcomes. At TriBuilt Technology Corp, James serves as a Senior Manager, driving delivery excellence and strategic cybersecurity initiatives across federal and commercial contracts. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Columbia Southern University and is currently completing his MBA in Management and Information Systems at Wayland Baptist University. Known for his mentorship, precision, and commitment to client success, James continues to lead cross-functional teams in advancing secure, resilient, and compliant IT solutions that protect mission-critical assets and improve operational effectiveness.

Vanderla L. Barnette is a seasoned cybersecurity and communications professional with nearly 35 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Navy, where she led mission-critical operations in cyber defense, RF communications, intelligence integration, and joint-service coordination. As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and CASP+ credential holder, she brings deep technical acumen and operational leadership to every engagement. At TriBuilt Technology Corp, Vanderla serves as a Senior Manager, applying her expertise in cyber planning, strategic policy execution, and team development to ensure delivery excellence across federal and state initiatives. Her background includes leadership roles at SOCPAC, DIA PACOM, and NCTAMS LANT, where she oversaw joint cyber operations and mentored large multi-disciplinary teams supporting national security objectives. Vanderla holds a Master of Information Technology with a concentration in Network Security, and has studied technological innovation and leadership at American InterContinental University. She is widely respected for her integrity, operational precision, and ability to empower teams to meet complex mission goals with clarity and impact.

I’m a senior leader with more than 20 years of experience in operational planning, program management, and workforce development. I am a retired Colonel with more than 31 years of military service. My experience primarily deals with high-stake military and federal environments, leading multimillion-dollar programs and directing force structure planning for thousands of personnel. I have executed strategic initiatives aligned with national security and compliance standards, and my strengths lie in cross-functional leadership, safety management, and aligning complex missions with resource and regulatory constraints.
